Robbers Row

This Hilton Head golf course is cut through beautiful stands of magnolia and live oak trees. Although tee-shot landing areas are quite generous, approach shots require accuracy to the well-bunkered greens. Those looking for a real challenge can move to the back tees and find a very fair but stern test of their golfing skills. Keeping in pace with Pete Dye's designs, Robbers Row will require every club in the bag while remaining an enjoyable experience.

The tree lined fairways are mounded on the sides and are at times tight, but there usually is plentiful room off the tee. The course features an outstanding group of par three holes, with water hazards often protecting the greens. There also are some interesting doglegs that will challenge the strategy and shot making abilities of both avid and novice golfers, with a three hole finishing stretch on the back side that includes a sharp dogleg left on 16 and two that bend to the right on numbers 17 and 18.
