Arthur Hills Course
Opened in 1991, this Arthur Hills course was instantly named a classic by Golf Digest Magazine, which rated it among America’s Top 10 New Courses. The course has since received a 4 star rating and is listed as one of 2008-09’s “Best Places to Play.”
Heavily wooded with towering pines and moss-draped oaks, the lush fairways roll past crystalline lakes. Protected greens, edged with bunkers provide golfers with challenges, while the signature par-4 18th hole offers a daunting finish to a spectacular game and was named one of 2008-09’s top 18 holes in the Low Country by WTOC News.
The Arthur Hills Course is a sculpted beauty with subtle contouring, a distinctive layout and a rare touch of genius. This par-72, 6,918-yard course is a graceful masterpiece that gently flows across the land's naturally rolling curves, winding through deep thickets of moss-draped oaks and towering pines punctuated with sparkling lakes. Most memorable is the large lake bordering the difficult dogleg-left finishing hole. Four different tee positions comfortably accommodate any golfer.
This is a player friendly experience for women using the front tee areas - and one that both resort players and avid golfers can appreciate.
